Associate Professor Leo Donnan is a highly experienced orthopaedic limb reconstruction surgeon for congenital and acquired conditions including musculoskeletal oncology. Leo has held significant appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital as The Chief of Surgery and Head of Orthopaedics.
Leo’s consulting rooms are at St Vincent’s Private Hospital East Melbourne where he conducts a private Hip Dysplasia and Sports Injury Clinic with onsite ultrasound, physiotherapy and orthotics. The clinic undertakes assessment and management of babies through to adolescents with relevant orthopaedic conditions. Leo has completed a Master’s degree in Surgical Education and supervises the Fellowship Program. Additionally, he lends his expertise to the University of Melbourne as an educator and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute where he is actively involved in major research activities centred on surgical outcomes of hip dysplasia.
