Dani graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and completed her internship at St Vincent’s Hospital before embarking on paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital. During this time, Dani developed an interest in the care of the newborn and completed her subspecialty training in neonatal and perinatal medicine at the Mercy Hospital for Women.
In addition to her broad experience in neonatal intensive care, Dani has worked with the Newborn Emergency Transport Service, stabilising and transporting sick babies from all over Victoria. In 2012 Dani completed a fellowship in neonatology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto before returning to Melbourne to commence private practice.
Her interests include antenatal counselling, resuscitation, ethics and patient safety. She has a Graduate Diploma in Health and Medical Law, and is fascinated by the intersection of medicine and the law.
Outside of work, Dani loves travelling around the world, seeking and creating culinary adventures, photography, going to the theatre and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Subspecialty interests include:
• Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine
