Mr Kondogiannis’s main consulting rooms are located at St Vincent’s Private Hospital East Melbourne, he also consults at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee. Other consulting rooms are in Heidelberg, Ringwood and Wantirna.

Chris’ main expertise is in knee surgery and sports orthopaedics.  He specialises particularly in arthroscopy as well as cruciate ligament and complex knee ligament reconstructions.  He also has expertise in patellofemoral issues and knee and hip joint replacement.

He completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1991 and undertook basic surgical training at the Austin and Repatriation Hospitals.  In 2002 Chris qualified in orthopaedic training before travelling to the UK where he worked as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant at the North Bristol NHS Trust.  Whilst in Bristol, he completed Fellowships in Knee Surgery, Sports Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Trauma and Hip Surgery.

Chris is a member in the following organisations; Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA), International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT).
